Vortex Generators are devices that improve performance of wing profile and flight stability for low speed, as they create micro vortex that delay the detachment of the airflow over the wing, thus reducing the stall speed without affecting performance in straight and level flight. These elements can also be installed on stabilizers, where an improvement in elevator and rudder response at low speed is perceived.
These elements can also be installed on the vertical and horizontal stabilizers to improve rudder and elevator response in slow flight, taking advantage of the same principle.
It is recommended to install it on wings without slots, as its function is similar and it will not add a significant improvement to the stall speed in this configuration.
Our vortex generators are made of resin and have a self-adhesive at the base of each element to facilitate installation.
